Yep. A year from now I am looking forward to what my photo- journal has to say about my first year fishing at SL.

Thanks about the guide info. I can complete basic rigging, etc. And with the videos, I can learn to filet different types of fish. His business looks great. To become familiar with north SL and SL fishing, I will get my name on the list before he is booked! I like the idea of input and direction from someone familiar with the area.

Thank you for the reminder, Redcatcher68. I figure this forum is safe--that anyone fishing at Stockton Lake is serious about fishing. And I have not located professional guides as of yet. And I would not fish with any stranger at night, etc. I have not a qualm about teaching myself the whole spectrum of fishing at SL. There are numerous instructions for each aspect of fishing; however, cleaning a fish after someone has demonstrated proper technique might make for a better meal. Any demonstrations are noteworthy. I will be fishing alone as I teach myself. I considered being associated with an angler now and then may curb any (possible) disorderliness from others who frequent SL. I always consider SL to be safe and Quiet!

Currently a female Stockton Lake swimmer, I am now teaching myself how to fish. Turned on by the lure to pack up and go visit Stockton Lake repeatedly throughout each week, I am ready to begin to fish. 1. I want to establish a way of life centered around fishing and swimming. 2. I expect to teach myself the habits and patterns of the various fish near the southern areas of Stockton Lake. 3. I hope to be introduced to an angler who can spare some free time to fish alongside me, demonstrating know-how passion and skills. If anyone is interested in demonstrating their skills and enjoying the natural layout with me, let me know when we can start. I work long hours on Fridays and Saturdays. The other days and nights I am free. (I have heard some fish at 3 am.)
