yeah i couldnt tell what brand it was though. he just retrieved it with jerks. I didnt know why that worked for him anf not me. im thinking he did something special and was wondering if you guys did anything like that

In my home state of Delaware (dela-where? ) we have a very small pond stocked with trout. They are hard to catch. Most people only go home with 1 or 2 off of mouse tails, but I personally had luck with inflated worms. Anyway, on opening day I was next to the guy who caught the first limit. He was using what looked to be spinners, but he was jerking them instead of a steady retrieve. I had no luck when I tried doing that. Does anyone know why that might be? Any other tips for pond trout fishing?

There are these trout hiding under this big tree with the stump/ root system submerged under water. The current goes parallel to the root system so I cant get lures or flies under their. What do I do?

No I mean MINI for trout. Ive read your supposed to use tube lures, but can they just be any old tube for slabs or do they have to be special trout tubes?

I'm trying to learn more about Mini-Jigging. What soft plastics do you use? What size jig head? Colors? Any other tips?

Hey, I am looking for some new tacticts to use in this certain situation. My creek was stocked with trout a month ago (They're eating natural food now) and its the kind of creek with 10 foot cliffs with deep pockets on the outside of each turn, but shallow on the inside of each turn. What are some new ideas for fishing those deep pockets? I use a variety of spinners and crankbaits that the trout follow but never take. I also nymph.
