I need a fishing buddy in Springfield who has a good boat for fellows, all I've got is a jon boat with an electric motor I want to be able to cover some more water.

I have an electric trolling motor or I could paddle

Would it be worth it to launch a 12 ft alluminum jon boat from Delaware access? I dont want to haul it down there if I wouldnt be able to fish very much of the river. I am not familiar with how deep the water is in that area and didnt know if it would be to shallow for my boat.

I go to school at Missouri State and this is the first year I have somewhere to store my boat. I want to fish Fellows but I am unsure if ill be ok with jsut a trolling motor or do you need an outboard to fish it right?
