I bought a Foldcat 375fc last year. We regularly take it in the NJ Bay. We have been to the Stink House near Captain Mike's Marina, and at Corson's Inlet. On several occasions we have been "wave bombed" by multiple 18ft-30ft boats that speed by on their way to the ocean...and it is as stable as it can be! I have a 3.5 HP Evenrude 4-Stroke on it and we go past the inlet into the ocean with no problem! (Of course, we don't go far, and it's better when the current is with you!) I trailer it as opposed to inflating it each time to save time and effort. It CAN be portable, but I am 65 y/o and would rather spend that time fishing instead of inflating/deflating and packing it up each time.
