  1. I picked up a couple bags of 2 oz bottom bouncers and 10-12 spinner rigs from Everharts this morning. They had some Wordens that have a spinner that is also the float. The others is a mix of Berkley and Wordens Elite rigs. I bought some small cylinder floats in Chartreuse that I have added between the beads on a few of them. These will give me something to try until I get some stuff ordered to build my own. Thanks for all the replies and help guys. I'm sure I will be asking plenty more questions. If anyone needs any Truman lake advise just holler. I crappie fish several days a week and stay up on the other fish also through some guide friends.
  2. Couple questions about spinner rigs for behind a bottom bouncer. I am wanting to get some supplies bought to tie up rigs or find some pretied rigs on sale over the winter One hook or two? Store bought or hand tied? Quality brand? Spinner blade size?
  3. I do. We fished his boat on Saturday afternoon and then we went back out Sunday morning in mine so we would have the 360 imaging to try and find more places with brush between the hardwood stumps that were holding the bigger fish.
  4. Looks like them Wilson boys are still catching them. Been a while since I seen some of the Crappie Slayers series guys. I need to try and get to Pomme and fish a couple of these to see everyone again.
  5. Here is a couple good Truman Crappie a buddy caught with me over the weekend.
  6. I put a 80 lb Ultrex on my Ranger 188 a few weeks back. Have it a work out in Mississippi prefishing for the Crappie Masters national championship. It sure was nice for trolling down there for 8 days using the remote and cruise control. I dipped trees Saturday and Sunday here on Truman and really like the quick response of the pedal which is like the Fortrex motors I have been running for years.
  7. Just joined up last week after finding this forum while doing searches for walleye fishing in Missouri. I live in Clinton, MO and have fished Truman lake all my life. I started fishing bass tournaments back in the early 2000's and switched over to Crappie about 10 years ago. I fish around 12-15 tournaments a year and travel out of state fishing the Crappie Master's tournament trail. We just returned from Mississippi fishing the national championship and ended up with a 29th place finish and 4th biggest fish for the two day tournament. Plaques and check made the long drive home a little easier. Getting setup now to start chasing the walleye on Truman and Stockton for a change of pace between Crappie tournaments.
