Depends on the fish, imo, but I do believe the bite improves with fluorocarbon when fishing under the surface. Towards the end of October 2017, the Trout in Lake Taneycomo was extremely line shy. I swear they were cocking there heads looking for a line attached.
Thanks, Winds from the West Proverbs:
Wind from the West, fish bite the best.
Wind from the East, fish bite the least.
Wind from the North, do not go forth.
Wind from the South blows bait in their mouth.
Thanks, for the input. That's what I've been doing also. It's documentation or proof I caught it, but I'm wanting to capture the beauty of some of these fish better.
I have yet to tested the Pixel water proofing abilities. I can imagine it's about as water proof as a blackberry bold that I have tested though.
It would have been for the time. Just guessing around 1986. I remember Microsoft Word would fit on a 1.4 meg floppy disk. How about the old 3.5 inch floppy disk Sony digital camera. That's probably Windows 95 era.
Lol, I've seen those eyes before. The last week of October this year probably 5 o'clock in the morning a 60 to 70 lb cat crossed in front of me on the Hatchery Road before the turn off to the boat ramp.. I think It was to big for a bobcat and the color of a mountain lion, but I couldn't see tail. I'm almost sure it was a small mountain lion though. When leaving for breakfast the next day these ran out in front of me and I got this shot.
Fyi - great thread with a lot of good info.
Thank you.
Thank you. I have used early version of photoshop. Think I still have it on a old Pentium II/ windows 95. Lol, that's a 20 years old version.
That's cool. Thanks. What editing program are you using? I'm decent on technical stuff, but I haven't done much with photography since mid 80's, before digital. I plan to improve my skills so I can capture the beauty of the fish I catch and I appreciate your input.
Ok smart posterior (Sarcasm off). Thanks for the info. I have supposedly the best camera in a smartphone going, pixil and it supposed to be compatible with any camera. It does take good pictures except in complete darkness. Maybe there's a sitting I haven't found yet. I also have a camera and tripod I haven't packed wadding and site fishing yet. I really don't know what kind of pictures it will take in complete darkness. I did buy a Simms backpack late October that has plenty of room to pack'm next time to try.
Thank for the info. That cradle is pretty neat. I'm a little worried out the size for waddling and sight fishing. It might work good when fishing out of my kayak.
