Thanks for the info guys! Hoping to hit it more consistently on the weekends until I graduate and then will be able to pick and chose my days for a better bite hopefully.

Went to my favorite smallmouth spot today, just below Bennett Springs. Unfortunately I only hooked up with one little guy. Water was brown and about 35 degrees air temperature. Last time I was at the same spot in mid March I caught 15. Will brown water and cold air really shut off a bite that much? (New to the game)
