  3. Took the kayak out today, Orleans was pretty busy. Met a friend out there, him and his family ended up with 38. I didn't get anything but I got a late start, they said the bite was best about noon for them. I also didn't have the colors they were using, blue swimming minnow or black with chartreuse tail
  4. Probably a good thing we went crappie fishing instead
  5. Put in about 430, bite was pretty slow, we ended up bringing home 14 but caught probably twice as many shorts. Caught them every which way though... dropping on brush piles and casting to bank not a bad evening though
  6. We went last weekend and it was a slow bite but we came home with 26, but it took all day to get them. Hopefully the water is cleared up a little
  7. If the water is low it's very easy, if it's normal pool it's not bad but ull want 4wd, if it's high it can be pretty rough
  8. Me and a couple others are make an afternoon run to nemo after work to target some crappie on brush piles. I'll post back after the trip
  9. I was considering putting the kayak in at the ole bridge pillars and move up the river from there

  11. I'm looking to get out on fellows in my kayak as much as I can this year, I've been out there a couple of times but never caught anything. Is there any advice for me to catch some of the good fish they have there?
