I am fairly new to the area and come from a background of striper fishing. I am still trying to figure out Beaver and have had minimal luck so far. I have been using brooder minnows because I can't seem to locate any schools of shad. It was a lot easier back home in SC because we just went to the store and bought 3 dozen herring for $21 and called it good. I understand the laws about shad here though and want to figure out how to locate them. Catching will be another task...but anyways.. Does anyone have any pointers this time of year for where to locate shad? Tight Lines, Patrick
