I have a pair of Sims Guide felt soled boots that are at least 10 years old. I lived in Colorado when I got them and fished waters that I know had whirling disease. I stopped using them a few years before I moved back home to Arkansas. Bottom line is these boots have not been in any water in at least seven years. I'm an old man now and not so sure on my feet, especially in a slippery stream. These are such nice, comfortable boots that I would like to fish with them again. Are they safe after 7 or 8 years of being completely dry? Thanks ahead of time. Bob
