  1. Thanks to you both, a boat I fish on has the same problem...merc throttle control, only in the summer in high humidity. I will see if I can get a new switch.
  2. Just learning this..I guess I'm supposed to list home waters. I live on Sugar Creek Lake, north of Moberly....fish there the most, but have spent lots of time prior to moving there fishing Bull Shoals and Stockton, along with The Big Piney, Gasconade and Eleven Point. Hoping to get back to all of them this year. Life has ways of interrupting fishing. I hope to claw some back.
  3. JP--I will get you some pics later in the week with a price. I'm going to did out the title today...I'm pretty sure it is somewhere around here!
  4. JP--As it happens, I have a Blazer 18ft paddle Jon that I'm thinking about selling. It has a spot in back for a motor, electric or up to 5 horse. With the 5 horse it tends to rock up on the bow end, but I put my gas and tackle up front, which helped. Most of the time I run it with a 50 pound thrust trolling motor. It will fish three easy all day. It is a Blazer model 1856--2009, the trailer is weak, but serviceable. If you have interest, let me know. I can send photos....I come into St. Louis every couple of weeks to see family and could possibly haul it over.
  5. Finally signed up. I hope to do more fishing this year, now that my deep-v ( 17 ft Sea Nymph) is working well. Hope to fish Stockton and Rainey Lake Canada this spring. I also fish the Gasconade and the Eleven Point and really hope to get more time on rivers. Problem is-- a lot of old fishing buddies have gotten too old. Hoping to find some folks who like fishing and can carry a deep cycle battery! We'll see. I do not fly fish...sorry, but do baitcasting and spincasting for numerous fresh and saltwater species. I have a fondness for smallies, toothy fish, redfish and kings.
