Going to purchase my first river boat. A move has me fishing rivers and flowages almost exclusively now. Moving from a 18' deep v Lund. I am from wisconsin and chose this forum because it seems no one up here has any knowledge on the topic-so thanks in advance. As of now, I've narrowed it down to and 1860 or 2072 CC jon style from Seaark. Most likely the 2072 fxjt with 140 Suzuki. The other boat style I am debating Would be a 1860 or 2060/70 legend/blazer/Alweld. I will be fishing the far northern part of the wisconsin river, which is shallow, rocky, but not overly narrow. I will also spend some time musky fishing the small lakes and flowages in that area. Usually 3 in the boat. Also occasional family trips of 4 these types of boats are extremely rare in my neck of the woods, so even getting a look at them has proven difficult. Any advice would be appreciated .
