I am glad to know that I am not the only one that does't catch fish on wooly buggers. I have tied them all kinds of ways and have not had much luck in catching fish with them. Several books and lots of individuals say that they are the #1 fly for catching fish. But I always have more luck with wet flys - salmon eggs - maribow jigs.

I looked for Backcountry Outfitters today while in Springfield but did not find it. Campbell street is busy for a country boy from Cassville to be looking for a store. Can you give more information on your location. Explorer still shows a map to your battlefield address. Thanks

There's an artical on the Arkansas Fishing Forum that says Table Rock is Turning over. We'll be down to Taney fishing Sat,Sun,Mon. If it is turning over will it change what's been catching fish and if so what fly patterns would be good to use. I noticed that Taney is at 701 and has been for a while. We are planning on floating with flyfishing pontoons from the boat ramp to Cooper Creek. How long will it take to float this trip at low water.

I live close to Roaring River. Its an hour and 10 minute drive from Branson. take 265 to 13 to 86 to F. F goes through the park. Its about a 30 minute drive to Beaver Tailwaters from Roaring River. From the park take 112 to Seligman then 37 to the state line then 62 East to the dam road. You could do this an see both of them. I like Roaring River better. They have stocked some nice fish for the catch and release season.

I noticed that the pre registration form must be in by Sept 15. Will an individual be able to see the fly tying demonstrations if you haven't pre registered. Will any of the casting instructions be available if you register at the event. Fishing Milwright
