Fishin' Freak

Ryan, I fish the points in the K-Dock area on Sat. with no luck on the walleye. I was throwing rogues, swimming minnows, and flukes on weighted hooks, working them very slow and only giving them one long twitch rather than a few shorter faster twitches. I did manage two decent bass which never disappoints me!!! Let us know if you get out this weekend at how it goes. I will not be able to get out.

Do you guys use Spider Wire braid in the green color on Table Rock? I have always used it on my flipping rods and have always fished dirtier water than Table Rock and Bull Shoals. I just moved to the area and am wondering if I can get by with it in the clearer water. Any info would be appreciated.

I am new to the area and I am wanting to learn the lake. I have been doing some reading on here and I am learning a lot--thanks fellas. I am thinking of putting in at Beaver Creek next weekend and throwing some stick baits for walleyes and trying to scatch out some crappie. Which way would you guys head from Beaver Creek if a guy was in search of walleye and crappie?? What color of Rogues, Husky Jerks, ect would be best??? Do you guys cast at the banks or perpendicular to them? Is a real slow retrieve going to work the best??? I know this is a lot of questions but I have never fished BS before and I look forward to learning the lake. Thanks in advance.
