  1. Anyone know whats up with the http://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil site requesting a userid and password now? Does anyone know a public access uid/password or another way to access the release and lake level data via the web?
  2. Just got back went to Rim and used the Taxi thats a nice service, Thanks for the advice.
  3. Hi guys. I've decided to make a trip up to the White tomorrow the 30th. It looks like they are generating a little where's the best wadeable fishing under the current generation and what are the hot flies right now? I'm from Fort Smith and have pretty much been shut out on my fly fishing this year due to the high water and saw this nice 60 degree weather and lower water and thought I had better take advantage of it. Thanks for the help fellas.
  4. Thanks for all the info guys. Much appreciated.
  5. We usually go up Cotter and fly fish about 6 to 8 times a year, but the high water has kept us off the river since the end of February. We've been debating on taking a trip up there in the next week or two and just renting a boat and just doing some regular drift fishing. I was wondering if you guys could give me a little information on where the best place to rent the boat and to fish would be. We used to go and rent boats for like $75 a day at Calico Rock, but with all the water it seems like it might be better to go up above where the Buffalo and Norfork come in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  6. Some of my buddies and I are planning a trip to Cotter this weekend. We usually just wade at Roundhouse shoals, but one of the guys suggested using a float tube to fish. I've never thought of it and was just wondering if you guys think that would be a good idea or not and how that might work with the current generation levels? Example Tube
  7. Thanks for your help, at least you've given me some options. It looks like the lake is almost back below the 'top power pool' mark. I'm hoping they may let off on the generation some by this weekend.
  8. Me and some of my pals had been planning a trip up to the White for some fly fishing this weekend. I've noticed that there is a lot of water being released and was wondering if there is any wadable water at the current release levels?
