my dad and I are looking to come over to do some fishing on taneycomo and would like to hit the big lake also for crappie..... When do they start to spawn at table rock

I fish a lot between gooseneck and below doniphan for walleye, trolling during the summer and minnow fishing during the winter. Does anyone fish above powder mill for walleye, and if so what do you use as your poison? Since I have moved to Eminence I would like to find some walleye fishing closer to home.

now thats a river i have only been on a few times... eleven point is too far of a drive when i have current river at my footsteps... If we do go we usually go over by wilderness and put in there and float down to the bridge. The times i did float it, didn't have much luck... what does everyone use on 11point by the way al... sounds like you are around the eminence area. Ever fish jacks fork.. we float jacks fork every other weekend in the summer, but I have never took a pole with me because of the crowding during the weekend.. I have a cabin about 10 miles south of big springs on what is called yellow bank on current river. My bud and his wife were fishing just up from it one late summer evening trolling for walleye and she landed a 23 1'2" 5.28 pound smallie, missing the record of 6 and somethin pounds by ounces, it is on there wall over their fireplace now, biggest darn smallie i have ever seen I catch a lot of smallmouth in the summer from doniphan up to the cabin and a few miles up to gooseneck, but most range from 8-14 inces, with consistant 14-16's every now and then, and the occasional 17-19 is always nice. caught my biggest last early summer on a 3 inch pop-R top water, it was 19 3/4" and 2.48 pounds

i have 34 yard spools of gold beading wire. just barely heavier than ultra wire i have hundreds of spools so let me know if you are interested... will trade or sell either way... 1 spool or 10 whatever is needed

I motored up to the last boat ramp on the right, just below the dam the 14-15 about 6:45am and fished back towards lilley's about 4 hours each day. I caught a ton of fish on a 1/16oz olive/black jig with 4lb test. I limited out each day with fish under 12". I averaged about 1 fish per 10 minutes with the jigs. Most of which were around 15inches. Right below the dam I had a 22"+ rainbow break my line when I missed him with the net. I didn't have much luck with rapalas or rooster tails. My white, olive, and black buggers were working great, size 10's. Just below fall creek I floated the afternoon of the 15th and the morning of the 16th and caught about 10 fish on white power eggs. Orange didn't work very well this time for me. I was rigging them about 15 inches from the bottom and they were biting best about 20' from the bank. A big thanks to all the folks a lilley's landing. I WILL BE BACK IN THE FALL. Wait to get your fly tying stuff at lilleys, much cheaper than bass pro.
