  1. The nice thing about Galmey Cove is that you might hang into big Ol' Muskey. I've caught 3 out of it. Good Luck The "geeze"
  2. you might try Galmey Cove, fish the point and all the way into the cove. Lots of boat docks. Try a white or chartruse spinner bait. Top water is hit or miss, if theres wind try a buzz bait if it isn't try a Pop R or a Devils Horse. Crank baits have been working pretty good to. Good Luck The "geeze"
  3. Did a little Bass fishing last weekend. Did pretty well. Coopers cove is a good place to start although it's liable to be crowded. You might try Fugat cove. Be careful there is a lot of standing timber under the surface, with the water being up 4 ft. you should'nt have a problem. With all the rain were are getting, and all the brush in the water, you should tear-em up. Good Luck "the Geeze"
  4. Was out yesterday, caught a bunch of Whites in the evening. Look for the shad balls on your electronics. I was throwing a white road runner off the points. Haven't heard about the crappie though. till next time geeze
  5. Hey Bigmouth First I would like to thank you for your weekly fishing reports. I don't get to fish Stockton as much as I would like to, but when I do it's nice to have a little knowledge before I head out. As to too many tourneys on the lake, I live on Pomme and we get 6 or 7 every weekend. You can go to the weigh in sites after they leave and there are always a BUNCH of dead Bass floating. I know they ( the local businesses) think they generate revenue but I don't agree, sure they may buy there gas here, but thats about it. Anyway I thought I would throw my 2 cents in. Keep up the good work, and keep those weekly reports coming. Sincerly Pomme Geezer
  6. Just a short up-date on the lake. It came up 3 ft., so now it's 5 ft. above normal, and real clear. Was out this weekend and could'nt buy a bite. The Bass tourney boys struggled. I did't talk to any of them that caught any keepers. I'll keep ya posted. Pomme Geezer
  7. Was out Mon. the 9th. Crappie fishing was good. I found them in 7-10 ft around standing timber around P14 on the river. Jigs worked ok, but minnows seemed better. All were 10-13". Good Luck Pomme Geezer
