  1. I think there is going to be 20-30 boats. Shouldn't be to crowded.
  2. I got out for a little while today on upper Bull Shoals. Caught 1-20 inch walleye, 3 LMBs to 14 3/4 inches, 2 short crappie. Throwing rogues and jigs.
  3. We usually catch a bunch in the spring and then the summer when we are trolling for walleyes. I really like to eat them. We just make sure we cut off every bit of red meat on their fillet. It makes for a smaller amount of meat but you don't want to eat the red meat anyway.
  4. In about another month you will be able to catch some good white bass off the banks up the James river near Galena. Lots of good bank fishing then for kids and adults.
  5. caught it on a crankbait trolling 30ft deep.
  6. I don't have a problem with them being in there, just another game fish to chase. My partner caught the current state record about 1 1/2 yr ago while we were walleye fishing down there. 1st one we ever caught there.
  7. My son and I went out yesterday and braved the cold windy weather out of K dock. We caught 1 17 inch walleye. It was about 30 ft deep. Only bite we had all day. had some more friends out in the same area and I don't believe anyone did very good. Should be starting anytime though.
  8. My fishing buddy and I have caught a few Walleyes on TR while targeting them. Not a single one has been a short fish all between 18-25 inches. Just hit and miss though. Most of the time we troll for them. While doing so we have caught a ton of big smallies, whites, big crappie and even some catfish so it is never boring. Still learning though.
