Thanks for the info, any baits that the crappies tend to prefer that time of year?

Heading to LOZ the first weekend in May to try and find some crappies. What will the fish be relating to that time of year. We are staying across from the Gravois arm of the lake. Any help would be greatly appreciated, have been fishing a few times and never had much luck. Thanks.
