  1. Well, I don't know if any of you got out this last weekend. I saw the other post about the glaize arm. I struggled again in the gravois although I actually set the hook 3 times! I will have to try up the osage next weekend if I can get out! Best place to put in to fish that area?
  2. Hey I appreciate the help. I'll give it a go and let you know how it turns out!
  3. I will go and try again this weekend! When you say shallow are talking less than 10 ft? I must have had my hat on wrong because I threw a worm for 7 hrs and nothing! I must need to use black with black flake!
  4. Anybody doing any night fishing anywhere on LOZ? I hauled water for 7 hrs. this last Sat!!!
  5. Anybody heard of a night bite on the LOZ after dark? I know the last 2 hrs of daylight are killer but after that don't know, any reports?
  6. If it helps, I use a 8 ft Baston/Rainshadow rod. It is one piece MH (not extd) and I had to take a 1/2 inch off to keep it legal for tourney fishing. I ordered the blank and had someone finish it for me. I can chuck DD22 a mile. The rod blank is around $100 if I remember correctly. Does it actually catch me more fish? I know my bait is in the water longer. When I do catch a fish it sure is nice on trebels to have that extra foot in the rod to play the fish. The only downfall is storage in the boat, it's kind of long Hope this helps.
  7. Any suggestions on reel service? I don't have anything wrong just need oiled and lubed? I know bass pro but any other?
  8. I need a place to stay near PB2, I would like to not have to unhook my boat. Suggestions?
  9. I really caught fish on LOZ last Fri. night on football jigs in about 15 - 25 ft. of water. Then darkness hits and I didn't have a sniff! I fished w/ jigs, worms, cranks and even spinnerbait. Nothing!!!! Is this normal to have such a sharp change after dark? Any help is appreciated!

  11. My stern light would be the one on the front?! Any suggestions on location ON Loz
  12. Guys, I know this is the wrong area, but driving to table rock is just out of the question. I have no option but to night fish the next 2 months. I have only been once and LOZ is closest, dodging trees on truman sounds like a problem. Do I need both lights on the entire time even while fishing? Any baits, locations, ideas would be greatly apprecited.
  13. Only have been once. I need suggestions on where to fish and what to use. Do I have to have lights on while fishing? I know that spot lights are illegal. I was wondering while fishing "anchored" do you still need both lights on? Thanks in advance for the help!
  14. What size Red Fin are you typically using?
  15. I am wanting to get some jerkbaits painted. I would appreciate any suggestions on where to have them painted in your area. I have some colors in mind but would be willing to listen to any recommendations. Great site as always!
  16. Just a quick question to anybody who fishes in this area. Will I need a Ark. fishing permit if I cross the state line? Will I be better to trailer and put in "further up" the lake? If I do fish in this area what can I expect for fishing? I have never drop shotted before. I apprecite all the help!! Good fishing!!
  17. Let's just say I don't have the luxury of fishing at night (wife and I annivers.) I will have a couple of hours in the AM and maybe one afternoon. I have never tried drop-shotting, let alone seeing my bait on my graphs. Topwater? C-rig? Shakey-head? I use the large sammy's on Truman? Do you use the big or small one's. Will a football jig work? Just won't have alot of time to get prepared, all help is appreciated!
