After fishing Norfork for 14 years, the last 7 years have seen this fishery continue to decline to the point that it is hardly worth the trouble to try. This isn't just for one species either. I no longer see many of the Locals at any of the known spots anymore and talking with them (in town) they indiacate that they have given up on the lake. I know that AG&FC has increased the stocking of Stripers to 200k a year and these are beginning to show up on the lake. They also raised the length to 20 inches which is GREAT. I know that there were 2 shad winter kills that seriously affected this lake. Is anyone aware of any other efforts to replenish the fishery?
