Wife and I, along with her aunt and uncle, are taking our first float on the Buffalo on Memorial Day weekend (yeah, I know, but I didn't pick the date). Gonna float from Baker Ford back to Gilbert, or Tyler to Gilbert, but that one seems awful short. Wife and I typically try for the ten-twelve milers with no fishing, or shorter trying for smallmouth, goggleye, etc. We will be floating on Sunday to try and avoid most of the riffraff.
Anyhoo, since reading this forum I have picked up some Rapala CD-3's and 5's, and am looking for any other last minute tips for our first Buffalo adventure. Thanks.
