we like to do the limbo "how low can you go trips!! LOL!! a 133 is a rowing canoe! AND, do you know of a put in above the bridge?farther downstream than grandview?(skmo) you seem to be the go-to guy with the kings river on the lake side....i read a post of yours about the resort with a pay-ramp ,,is that up ,or down stream of the bridge.? thanks for your help!

the news paper (arkansas gazette) had a report of the latest river shocking to track the walleye spawn and kings didn't show as well as expected,, but they also said they couldn't go above the 86 bridge!! on the other hand the white river was doing very well with some up to 8 lbs brought up, and whites in 3 to 5 lbs were common even trophy size!!

I had to do a road trip, and on the way home went to boxley and steel creek area , as i went over the bridge,,, looked over to see a large group taking-out ,they all were wet!!!!! up to mid-chest by the water line on there tee-shirts (little to early to go swimming)

I have 2 of these P V -POLY-PLASTIC canoe ends ,they fit the bow or stern! (they do not fit a discovery133k! ) and have a screw cap-lid that make them water- tight....like a floation bag , with storage .only these are hard plastic. let me know if your interested??

heading east on hwy 412 there is a ramp just before the bridge and one , the second road after the bridge turn right to bule springs thats the last one..(dont leave anything in the bed of your truck) or turn left at nob hill and the road will take you to war eagle marina ,or point 12 the road dead ends in to the lake!! in the war eagle arm the others put you on the white river arm!

the whites are up there( small males)and from all the boat traffic this weekend i'm guessing cabin fever is over!!!LOL NOT SURE OF WATER TEMPS but it won't be long !

anyone know what water temp triggers the walleye ,or when the spawn run starts,i have never have fished for them .any , and all info would be helpful

MAN I WISHED YOU DID !!!!this was my first trip,for smallies and ended up with large mouth!! but not all was lost, after dirt-roading it for some time ,i did find all the put -ins along the creek and will be set for the next trip!!

made a run on the creek ,,frosty morning, just enough water to skim -over the top of the rocks!!!floated from 412 bridge got a real late start, saw lots of fish caught 4 large mouth ,,needed more time on the water

I haven't heard a boat motor ,or have seen any boats out in about six weeks. the water in the war eagle arm..(point 12) was frozen all the way across for 4 days back to your question !!! bull , table rock ,then beaver, back to your question !!! bull , table rock ,then beaver,

thats a good part of the lake!! and the time you are coming down is almost always spinnerbait time! day or night!! the pig'n jig works well !! water is very clear, line color is some times helpful ,( green) and fishing deeper that normal 30to40 ft out off the points on the main lake ,fish the stuff you only can find on your depth finder!! humps and bump!! .........hope it helps!

it's not a state permit ? i go with a guy who has one on his boat ,and every time we went we got stoped !! only one lake you can use a big motor on . all the rest are either 9 and under or electric only i'll do some home work and see if i can get some more info...t he guys at( hook line and sinker ) local bait shop not sure if there in bentonville ,or bella vista just off 540 interstate or hwy 71 n all that up there is growing so fast....

have you ever got to fish any lakes in bella vista?(you need a permit to get on the water) but well worth the effort .................. dont go with out it,,, they have there own water patrol

just a little farther dowm stream to the right of your pic you posted you can just see an old wood snagg? if you stand there and cast down stream ( i bet you smile!!)

rent the cabin's they comes with (free) boat bring your trolling motor ? really at gastons you only have to go 500 yards up stream ,or downfishing the fishing is always great!!!!!!
