Not directly on topic but... I just read Michael Chreighton's STATE OF FEAR. Awesome book! He focuses on environmental groups who spout all of the global warming garbage and their motivations, but it applies equally to all of the liberal groups that want to promote their cause at everyone elses expense. If you have the time give it a look. All of the science in the book is referenced back to its source, page and paragraph of the publication that it came from.

Wow. That's a lot of places to stop. I wont have time for them all! I will be at Ozark Mountain Resort for a week begining this Saturday and I have learned a lot about the area from all of you guys. Thanks. I'm looking forward to a great week! Since this topic is food can any one recomend a nice dinner place....not to pricey, but a shirt and sport coat, kinda romantic evening for my wife kinda place?

Thanks everyone, I will be calling the resort to request that lake view. I never learned the art of fly fishing though. I'll keep reading the posts and fishing reports. Looking forward to the trip.

Hello All, I have no experience with this kind of site so I'm learning how to use the features... I found this forum while looking for Table Rock Lake info. My wife and I will be staying at The Ozark Mountain Resort for a week at the end of October. We have never been to the area before.I bought the HOT SPOTS maps of the lake to study and have been searching on-line for fishing boat rentals. Any and all advice about fishing the lake, or any other activities to pursue while we are there will be greatly apreciated. I find that a web search results in lots of advertising with no gauge of quality. I would love to get a local, real person perspective. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to reading the replies.
