Wackyworm and myself floated from Hog Heaven to Riverside this evening. We slayed the fish I'm sorry no pics. Russ's camera batteries were charging. I won't tell you where we caught all those, but I will say this, If your catching alot of fish in one spot your there. Wackyworm will not be able to respond till Tuesday. He has to get ready for smackfest. Everybody have a safe weekend and have a good float.

We floated from Hog Heaven to Two Sons and fished, even though the water was moving quick we caught fish. Below Riverside we caught some nice smallies. I was using a watermelon candy tube. The biggest was about 2 1/2 to 3lbs. Sorry no pictures. It was a great float and there were quite a few people on the river. Hope to see you on the river. Have a nice float!

Your right it did feel like a biggen, but it was 8". It was a great float and had a great time. The funny thing was that, yes I didn't go over Craig O Lea, but I was the only one that wasn't pumping water out of my boat. I'm looking forward to doing it again, next time we should catch more fish. Have a good float

Whacky Worm, Glory Daze, River Scotty, Eagle One Larry, Wild Man Rob, and Redfish floated from Owl's Nest to Hog Heaven. It was a great float, as much as I hate to say it, only one fish was caught and that was by redfish, but it was a fantastic float. We cooked blue burger bombs and hot dogs. It was a good day to float. That's all for now. Have a nice float!!!!!!!!!

Wacky Worm, River Scotty, and myself went kayaking in the snow yesterday on the Big Sugar. We put in at Sugar Island and took out at Hog Heaven, it was a great float. It snowed rally hard for awhile. It was beautiful and not really that cold,I think it was about 35 degrees. We saw 1 eagle at the end of the float. May be doing some fishing on the Big Sugar next weekend if anyone interested. Have a good float.

We are planning a float and fish for Sunday. Leaving Hog Heaven to low water or Mt. Shira. Maybe cooking some food along the way. Come join us, open invite to anyone that would like to tag along. Hope to see you. Have a good float!!!

We put in at Hog Heaven and floated to Mt. Shira. It was a good float and had enough water. We also floated the next day from Big Elk to Riverside. How was the water downstream from Mt. Shira?

I drove up to the Elk today. I checked Riverside and down by the low water bridge. It looks like the water has come up alittle. We are floating on New Years day.

Riverside is about 2 miles down the road from Hog Heaven on the right side of the road. There will be some small cabins on the left.

Me and a buddy floated from Riverside to Mt. Shira on Mon. It was a good float with very little dragging. We caught a bunch of smallies and some goggle eye, biggest was probably 1 1/12lb to 2lb It was late afternoon we used a plastic worm before it got dark and top water after it got dark. It's only supposed to be in the mid 60's this weekend, so bring some warm clothes just in case. Have a good float.

I went to the Elk river today to check it out.There is alot of water. There is to much water to float, just for the fact you can't get under any of the low water bridges except Craig o Lea, you can go over that. We got 3.5" of rain in Bella Vista. I'm not sure what they got in Pineville. Mon. or Tues. will be a good float. Fishing will be out for awhile. Have a good float and be careful. Safety first.

Those are some good looking fish. Where did you float from? I'm fishing Lake Ouachita this weekend, I'll give a report on Mon. or Tue.

I put in at Big Elk and floated to Mt. Shira, but I didn't catch any fish till I got past the Heaven Between there and Riverside I caught the most fish, after that I may have drank a little to much.

I have also had good luck with the black jitterbug around dusk. I also use a small torpedo that works good after it gets darker.

I fished saturday on the elk. caught quite a few, sorry no pictures. I was using a rubber craw and caught most of them between the heaven and riverside, even with all the people on the river.
