Pat, I just got the Popup ready for winter today. My wife is still working so I fugure the camping is out until next spring. I am really planning on getting back to bennett for a couple of days but I'll just stay at Sand Springs for 45 bucks. I can drive my small car and save that much money. Im thinking anytime during the week of the 20th will be good for me. Let me know when you're going and maybe we can fish some together. Jerry

Had a great dinner with great hot wings tonight. Thanks for everything guys. You guys that didn't make it really missed out. I'm staying another day or two. It's hot but not that bad when you're in the stream. Fishing was slow for me today but some of us did pretty well on midges.

I just made reservations at Sand Springs for Wed and thursday night. I'll be driving the little silver Yaris Hatchback as usual. Cell is 816-260-3676. I'll call No Luck when I get down there I guess. I have his number. Let me know what I can bring and where. Sounds like fun!!!!!

I'm really planning on heading down the 20th and 21st, wed and thursday. I will need to call sand Springs and get a room. I won't bring the popup for 2 days. I just got back today from Pomme de Terre for a week with another couple. I'll have to check but I might stay thru friday. I'll keep checking in here and I'll call if I get down there. I'd like to see you studs at least once this year and do some fishing!

hooked a muskrat up by the gauge house tonight. All hell broke loose for a few seconds then I snapped it off. Wouldn't know how to clean one anyway!!

HAving fun and the weather is perfect today. I went to the stream early this morning. I caught 16 in 3 Hours on assorted midge colors. Best was black zebra midge. Fished yesterday in the evening and caught a dozen or so on a black foam beetle pitched up next to the bank. Really fun. There was a small mayfly hatch but they were not taking them for squat. They loved the beetle under the tree limbs.
