  1. Well, I'll be arriving at the rock tomorrow, staying on Indian Point (Jakes Creek side). We will be fishing for a full week. So after 2- months of planning the split shot/shakey/jerk bait bite, it looks like I'm going to be flipping bushes and throwing spinners in dingy water (like here in Indiana)! My question is, do you guys think this will be the way to go all week or do you think it could come back to normal later in the week (depending on the weather)? Coming down with my girlfriend for a little R&R and fishing fun, any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance! Oh by the way Great site everyone. Chad

  2. Just returned from table rock yesterday. We had a great time! Fishing

wasn't hot and heavy, but did put some fish in the boat. Went fishing

4- full days and caught 20 bass (mostly spotted). Used a green pumpkin

finesse worm, rigged basically carolina style, and slowly drug it accross

the bottom and a wiggle wart. Out of the 20 fish 5- were keepers. Ended going to Landry's Seafood house for dinner 1- night, very nice. All in all a great trip. Thank you to every one on the board for all the advice, it was much appreciated. Well good luck to everyone and keep on fishing. I'll talk

    to you all next march!

    Thanks,

    Chad

  3. Hey I'm leaving for table rock in about 3- hrs, will be on the water

early sat morning. Does anybody have any last minute up to date advice

for fishing the Indian Pt. area (bass or crappie). Thanks to all

for the advice already, I'll see you on the water! Chad

  4. Good day Table Rock anglers, I'm looking for some help. I'm from Indiana and will be vacationing at Table Rock on the first week of April. I'm staying at the Whitewing resort (Indian pt. Jacques Creek side) and only have an 17' aluminum boat w/ 10 hp Johnson, so I have to stay in that area and fish. Just wondering if anyone could give any hints on where to fish (bass) and the best tackle/presentations to use. I came out last year a week earlier, the weather was nasty 40's w/ rain, only managed 2 bites in 4- days, but 1 was a 5.1 large mouth (on a wiggle wart) and the other was a 3.2 Kentucky ( on a brush hog water melon seed). So if any kind soul could help me out, it would be much appreciated. Oh, also if possible maybe a crappie spot, so I can take my girlfriend out and catch some dinner! Thanks and keep fishing!
