I will have to agree, Leonard has an awesome fly. I had never really fished streamers before let alone at night. I have always relied on the nymph and lighted indicator. I fished with Leonard on last Wednesday and he shared a few of these flies and when he said to have a tight grip on the rod he wasn't lying. Those trout would smash that thing, even the little ones. We probably landed 50-60 fish Wednesday night and I went agian Friday night. They were slow Friday up until about Midnight, but from then till 3am I probably landed a good 75-100. I couldn't make a cast without getting hit. Stood just barely below rebar and never moved for 3hrs until I unhooked the last one and convinced myself I better leave so I could somewhat function with the family the next day. I looked at that fly in the water under my light and it just simply comes to life. I just couldn't believe it worked as good as it did and I was only dead drifting, basically no stripping. I would have to say Leonard has one heck of a fly. Thanks agian Leonard. Cannot wait till I can make it down agian.
