As always the 11 Point Canoe Rental put on a first class event. I wish I could get a BBQ like that every time I came off the water. The apple dumplings and apple crisp were outstanding. Fishing is always GOOD! Cook better luck on that rod next year. It was good to see everyone until next time - FISH ON! Superfly

Greg I read that article too. I think it was in an old issue of fly rod and reel or flyfisherman mag. I think the research was done at a MT university. With the better nutrition they compared the trout to being on crack when hooked up. From my experience the trout in the Big Horn fight 10x harder than any MO trout. Why is that? Nutrition? -

ozark trout fisher you asked for trout management changes? any ideas. I believe those 3 ideas would produce more and larger trout in our blue ribbon waters. Missouri needs to follow some of the western states laws for trout management.

I would like to see "no kill" catch and release in all Blue Ribbon Areas. Along with single hook use ownly (no treb hooks)! Also ban all motorize boats in Blue Ribbon Areas. I don't think motorize boats do any good to the stream beds.
