My first outing of the season was on Saturday the 19th as well as my first trip ever to the area. I was impressed quality of fish that was caught even though my buddy kept apologizing about how slow it was. I caught 7nice crappie with one over 13 inches and one white. All were caught on minnows using a slip bobber fishing at about 8 feet deep.
