  1. AMEN catman70! I've lived in Four Seasons for almost 5 years now....I know how rough LOZ can get! But...it's a private lake, and with more shoreline than the West Coast, you just have to go a little ways to get away from the crowd! Come on, the main channel alone is 90 miles from Bagnell Dam to Truman Dam! That's not counting the major creek arms &/or coves! It's not that difficult to find a fairly quiet spot, just stay away from the main channel areas from about 30 mm to Bagnell Dam during weekends from about May to Oct.

    lots on ebay

We've been selling property on ebay for about 3 1/2 years now. At first we were shocked that this was a viable way of marketing real estate--but it is! We've done in excess of 1300 real estate transactions on ebay and all of our buyers have been satisfied. If you do the necessary due diligence, on both the property and the seller, you can feel safe about your purchase. Just remember to make sure that title is transferred by Warranty Deed (not Special, Quit Claim, etc.), property has deeded access (unless stated otherwise, but as mentioned above--how can you get to it?!), etc. But the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true".....just be smart about it and you can really pick up some good deals.
  3. By then it will be ON! Went today just up from Bucksaw and only managed 6. It was very windy and I couldn't keep my light jon boat where I needed it. The 6 I caught were on the bank--throw it to shore and 2 cranks--wham. Talked to several guys that were leaving as I was putting in (2 pm) and they all said they were just starting and on the banks in that area. Good Luck.
  4. I haven't tried the docks yet. I fished around woody cover in about 6' and chunk rock where it met pea gravel. The water was a little stained so I was using a "road runner head" with a black & chart. body. I'm going again tomorrow so I'll keep you posted.
  5. Fished up the Gravois this afternoon. Only caught 7, but they were all big fish! 4 were holding VERY tight to cover in about 6' of water and 3 were actually off the bank in about 18" (depth finder said I was in 56 degree water?). With the warmer weather coming it's getting ready to rock! Also picked up 3 whites.
  6. Bella Vista is a private community in NW AR. All of the "amenities" i.e. lakes, golf courses & tennis courts are for property owners & their guests only. I grew up there, my Dad worked for the company that started it, CCI. We lived on Loch Lomond, the largest of the 8 lakes, and the fishing was phenomenal! The crappie, redear, and bass fishing was tops! But, as I stated earlier, you must be a property owner or guest of an owner to enjoy it.
  7. A buddy and myself fished Taney 2/7 - 2/9 and we caught a LOT of fish. We're both novice fly fisherman, so we did the standard 1/64 oz. jig below a cork (ginger, olive/ginger, and red & white). We stayed up above Fall Creek and caught between 60-100 per day. Nothing giant but we did catch some nice ones and we had a great time. Stayed at Lilley's Landing--SUPER FOLKS AND A VERY NICE/CLEAN/AFFORDABLE place to stay!!!
