Cody the wife likes to see the bottom and we anchor fish she does not like to float fish...the reason we trout fish is .....well she can not swim and seeing the bottom makes her more comfee!!

Well I am now at a lose as to where to take Bec Fishing! It was hard to get her in the boat in the first Place! She loves it but likes to see the bottom! Hence the Jet motor...but this spring no luck...she says the water is to high Any Help????? People you have to understand Bec lost her first husband by drowing in the lake...she thinks if God wanted her on the water he would have made her a Duck,,,and to fly he would have made her a bird! She can not swim and the only wings she has are Angle wings! Which I think protected both of us now for 22yrs.

Well I am a 48 Jimmie Fan....His first nascar race was mine and the friend that I was watching with is a diehard 24 Jeff Fan..so for the the compation I had to choice another Hendrick Car...Glad to see 88 Jr. on the team. he is doing good! but hang on Hendrick will find how the toys got the extra hp. and the season is young!! Next year I look to see 20 Tony on the Team He loves Chevys, if Mears does not pick up and do some good for the team.

I had the Transom on my 14ft. jon modified by a Metal Fab shop! They made a saddle transom that slid over the org. It works well! The main thing to know the boat can not have a Rib on bottom in front of the pick up foot so no center keel! If I was starting fresh I would go with a Jet Tunnel! They are different than just reg tunnel drives ...So make sure it is a Jet tunnel! This would help protect the pickup foot! I had the info. as to where to get them made but can not find it now...search the Web and call boat manufactures...They will work with customer and build special boats custom design...Just make sure you research and know what you want when you call..I am looking @ having a 15'X52" Jet tunnel made when $$$ become availible.

Matt was my supervisor at Eaton! From what I was told and understand his wife was with him on the dock at the time and another man in a cabin next door was the eye witness and called 911! The Divers were still working on the Tue. after, when I and 5 employees others in 3 boats went up to help look! The following Sat. Myself and other Employees of Eaton in 8 boats with 16 people searched from the dock where he went in down to Lobo landing! Yesterday in plant wide meeting the new paper report was confirmed to the employees. Myself I still believe that he is in the river until I am proved wrong!

I bream and crappie fish there but have heard that there are walleye and smallmouth there also...Have caught some walleye (small) while crappie fishing...never tried or caught the smallmouth. Just below the upper dam is very good for bream on white jigs...yellow if water colored. You have to go out north main to the launch area. you have about 3-4 miles to fish between the dams.

I forgot to tell you if you would like to run down the river and see what you are up against and willing to pay for the fuel we could plan a trip in my boat! You have to put in at Ramsey and go down....can not get over the upper dam unless the water is realy up and I would not want to be on the river with that much water running unless it is back up from White River.

There are some private docks...To the upper Dam at Searcy it takes me about 1.5 hrs. in 14ft boat with 20jet when no water running.. I figure it is about 15 miles...very pertty country...but there are some wild place on the left side that should be avoided so I am told...so if you have to beach do it on the right going down! The public access just below the upper dam would be a good safe place to take out! The Dam is just around a curve to the left keep a eye open for it...pull out and go around...dam...The pool between the Dams at Searcy is good fishing The lower Dam is I would guess 3-4 miles from upper..the next public landing would be Reiding on the old Hwy From Searcy to JUD. It might be more than 15 miles could be 20 not sure how fast boat runs.. but did have to clean pump foot several times...and it was 1.5 hrs down and 1.5hrs back up!

Matt still has not been found...I pray for his family...I request that all that are on the river to keep a close eye out for him...If found call 911 Please reply if you hear anything! As of today 3/7/08 Still no word! As of 3/13/08 The plot thickens! Is he on the run or in the water!!! 4/25/08 Well as it apears at this time the search was in vain! should have been futher south! Like RioGrand!!! It was just told that there where calls from his Cell Phone 30 min after the Search Started...so I am guessing that we can all fish in peace with out worry of him poping up under our boat......If found I Want 10min. alone with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
