Pretty scary pictures. Anybody been on the water on the James River arm over the weekend? I see there are a lot of tournaments scheduled for the next two weekends. Will they still go on? How high up will the water still be?

It definitely has been a long winter. There is still a foot of ice on local lakes. I always enjoy coming down to Table Rock for spring break, even though we bring everything from shorts to snowmobile suits to wear, sometimes only a couple of days apart. Sounds like the water will still be high enough to still have the bushes in the water. Any tournaments going on this weekend on the Rock? I remember about 1986 or 87 the water coming up real high over night in the Little Aunts Creek area. After a couple of days, the fish moved up real shallow.

I fish and live in Michigan, but I have been visiting Table Rock Lake since 1980. I usually come down during the first week in April during our Spring Break. I teach and coach wrestling and golf. One thing that amazes me is that every year the fishing at Table Rock is different, even though we come down the same week. I have learned a lot of techniques used on Table Rock first and brought them back to Michigan. Before the internet, Missouri was where I learned the latest techniques, before they were used up here. I'm concerned about all the flooding you are having and how it will affect our fishing when we arrive April 5. By the way, we had 15 inches of snow here yesterday. You seem like a great bunch of anglers. I've always fished Table Rock, but watching the video of the trout fishing looked like fun. We have some great spring trout fishing here in Michigan too.
