  1. My mad river adventure 16 has a rear transom mount built in. So no balance issues. Battery goes all the way in the front with the wires tucked under the gunwale. I'd rather not have to deal with it to be honest, but I have small children who aren't quite ready to paddle yet but love to go out and fish. With a 40lbs thrust I can get up to 5-10mph according to the gps on my phone, so it really helps get around the lake to all the fishing spots faster. Thanks for the help. I contacted the MOHP and set up an appointment to get it inspected.
  2. Thanks...I'm just wondering how I'm going to come up with a bill of sale for something that was bought person to person a few years ago...?
  3. I would like to start running a trolling motor on my canoe for fishing larger bodies of water. I assume this means I need to get it titled and registered. Since I bought it used, I don't have any proof of ownership or purchase. Is there anything I can do to get this done? Thanks in advance.
  4. I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but I've ordered three of them. They will let you order more than one seperately. 60 flies that I know will get use, for $30 is a killer deal. http://www.orvis.com/store/product_choice....&pf_id=76TK
  5. I feel the same way. I'd rather spent $200 on something I can get fixed or replaced anytime, than $100 for something I'll have to replace.
  6. I've been using this bag from north face (base camp small duffle) and it is perfect. I wanted something that was waterproof, had shoulder straps, and packed a lot of gear. just big enough to carry my waders, boots, waist pack, variety of small items
  7. Thanks for the report Tim. I'll be heading down the for my first time this year this weekend. I'll be sure and stop in and say hi and pick up anything I'm missing.
