  1. Last year we went in early June from Cane to Riverton. The smallie action was great. We are targeting mostly smallies but a couple of us want to put some more time into the trout this year.
  2. Well, I'll be there Friday morning to get some stuff and shuttle to the river for the weekend. I'll need to get some fly fishing advice. Gonna give the fly rod a try this year. And Brian instead of 2 canoes, we'll only need 1. Had some guys back out. We still havent decided on Cane to Riverton or Greer to 142. I guess we'll figure it out on Friday mornin. unless you guys got some recommendations. Thanks.
  3. Those are great pics
  4. Sounds like you guys had a great time. Awesome pics too! I'll be headed there in about 3 weeks.
  5. WOW! You're really funny.
  6. Hey Brian, I will have a group coming on the 13th of June, starting the float that afternoon thru sat nite and leaving sun late morning. I was figuring you would have the info on spots to camp. We will be renting 1 canoe and shuttling another. How much are the rates for the rental and shuttle? Also, we will be targeting smallmouth so do you have any suggestions on equipment and tackle. We will be camping on gravel bars, so what type of equipment should we bring with us. You can email me if you would like to set up reservations if needed. kslr10@yahoo.com Thanks for your time.
  7. Thanks to everyone for the info. This seems to be a really good site. We are definitely going to be going to the 11pt. One of my buddies wanted to do the Huzzah, but with the info i've got on here we'll check out the 11pt. We will be there the 1st or 2nd weekend of June. We will have to rent some canoes and such, so we'll stop by Alton and check things out. Again, thanks.
  8. Thanks for the info. We will be targeting smallmouth, so we might go with the cane bluff area. And as for the camping i like the idea of the gravel bars. I'm not really into the whole camp ground areas. And the better the fishing, well the better everything is.
  9. Hey Brian, I just found this site. And you seem to be the guy to talk with about Eleven Point. I'm planning a trip with some friends around the second week of June. This will be our first trip out there. We have mostly fished Castor and Current rivers. We are wanting to do about a 2 1/2 day trip. Probably start Fri afternoon thru Sun afternoon. About how far up should we go to space out the trip. Also will the water be any higher or faster with all this rain? Any help would be appreciated.
