I went to the dam both this morning and this evening.. and we caught 54 hog crappie and 23 white bass.. The shad are everywhere ( but so are the gar) so the fishing is hot. It seems they were hitting on just about anything you would throw at them so use your cheap tackle b/c you can get away with it!! All the Flood gates were open and there wasnt much of a crowd mainly due to the holiday. But anyways we caught em on both sides using jigs of all the colors of the rainbow so all you have to do is be there to get your fish!!!!

Ive limited out the last few weeks.. only the males are on the banks but the ones we caught were real hogs.. had good luck at LOTO especially Windermere (Larry Gale Access)
