  1. Hmmm....TFR on 1400am. i was told by a teacher one day that i was on there for a Rookie Of The Year thing. Never knew how i did. But the teacher was Jim Huson. We fished a tournament last May and won it with 15lbs. then next day fished my very first Heartland Pro-Am and got 10th
  2. haha. yea i was in the zone all day. my pro would ask me something and i wouldnt hear him and he would repeat himself. and then i would say huh? haha. but if u werent in the zone you wouldn't feel the bite. 2 ways the fish bit. either when u tightened your line you would feel just a difference like going through grass. and just to check u would set the hook and you would of send your hook through the side of the mouth and the fight would begin....or you wouldn't feel a thing you would have to just stare your line down and you would see it take off like a rocket. i stared at my line so long and hard, if i looked away i couldn't see squat. i had a lot of fun. cant wait for next tournament at Truman Lake in June. Should be awesome. I race dirt track at monett also. Just another passion of mine. But sometime this year i hope to try out I-44 Speedway. I'd like to go fishing any day of the week. Be more than glad to show u some stuff. Don't know much but enough to get it done. Just would like to go Pro in B.A.S.S. or FLW someday.
  3. i got 11th. still won $200 i had 6.26 in 3 fish post spawn fish. i had the first two by 7:30. one right after the other came off same bed. guardin fry. thats what every fish i saw was doin. had 3rd at 11. i had two average kentuckies and 1 decent largemouth. Found a spot in the very back of Whats Up Dock Marina that had tons of bass. Guarding fry on the base of trees.
  4. it is. fishing from the back of the boat is hard especially when the guy in front is fishing for himself and anything goes. Pre-fishing i usually go with my dad and we both work 45 hours a week so we r always finding ourselves searching for a pattern. i finally got it down today. to Carolina Riggin for Post Spawn fish. and shakey head with a green senko for spawning females or males guarding fry. Fish r very few and far between. but i hope to do good. ive had 2 top 10's like to win one. but i can only wish.
  5. smallies doing pretty good. weigh in from heartland had lots and lots of smallmouths more than spots or blacks. big smallie was 3.80. big bass was 5.17 i think. and winning weight was 16lbs. havent had too much luck. past two days had 4 keepers
  6. Anybody got any other reports??? havent had much luck. gotta a tournament sunday would like to have a idea on what to do in back of boat. last Pro-Am my pro had a nice limit but i was stuck in the back with little to no room to cast.
