We fished early Thursday morning in the Sons creek area. Caught 1 nice walley and 5 14 inch crappie. We tried vertical fishing anywhere around 15 to 30 feet and caught the walley around 10 feet. All of the crappie we caught while drifing out of a cove into the main channel of the lake. All were caught around 30 feet.

Hello Guy! I am new to this website, and this is my first time to reply. Are you fishing deep for crappie or close to the bank? We fished last Sunday morning around the Sons creek area and caught 4 nice fish approx. 20 feet deep and also around 10 feet. We anchored up to a tree and vertical fished using white curly tailed jigs. After catching the 4 crappie, we struggled to get another bite. Have the crappie spawned yet?
