Got to Lilley's Saturday, just in time to see the big brown. Awesome fish. Found some very friendly people, who got us into our rented boat quickly, gave us some good advice, and marked a few spots for us. Great service!! There were quite a few paople fishing off the docks. One even gave us handful of Power baits to try. Whoever you were, thank you. My wife caught her first trout using one of those "donated" baits. She actually caught her first 16 trout. She had a ball, so, THANKS to everybody. We'll be back. Thanks again, Gary Kilmartin

Hello everybody. It's been a while since I visited. Hope alls' well. Got a trip planned to Table Rock next weekend, and thought I would check in. We were at Chateau on the Lake last weekend. It's what my sweetie wanted for Valentine's Day. Didn't bring any fishing gear. Didn't know the weather would be so nice. I won't be making that mistake again. We'll be at Big Cedar, and will rent a boat for a couple of days. Was just wondering how the fishing has been in that area of the lake. My wife is not into long boat rides, so we probably won't be going far from the lodge. Thansk for any advice. Cheers, GK

Greetings, the wife and I will be staying in the area this weekend, and would like to rent a boat. I haven't fished the Taney since the year the dam, or was it the power plant, was under repairs. Very low water levels until the last day. Looking forward to doing it again, hopefully under better conditions. We'll fish either Saturday or Sunday, and Monday morning. I'm trying to talk her into fishing both days of the weekend. Anyway, we'd like a boat. If you were going to go out, which day would you pick? Thanks, GK

Greetings everybody. I'm an Illinois boy who regularly fishes Table Rock and Lake of the Ozarks. In fact, I'll be at TR March 10 through March 16 or 17. Staying in Branson. Not bringing a boat. Will rent one for two or three days of fishing. My wife and I both fish. Mostly bass and crappie. I understand the lake is low this year. Any tips / tactics / locations? By the way, this looks like a great site. It's in my favorites folder.
