  1. Nice...Keep up the good work. Good to see someone posting good reports for Fellows. Have ya tried for Muskie?
  2. Bob...Sorry to hear bout the family. Hope things work out well. Thanks for the Report as always. I will be there Sat. Morning. Is the water muddy at Aldrich Bridge? Techo...Those jigs with crawfish trailers caught several keepers last year. My Senkos worked real well at the backs of coves in the calmer water. The lighter colors resembling the light green crawfish they have been eating seemed to get them excited. I will let you all know how we do. Trying that new spinner bait reconfiguration. Good Luck Guys
  3. If ya got a second vehicle. I did the float from Linden Lure to Whooten Town on the James Last Summer. We caught lots of fish. Took all day. Did not spend too much time fishing each area because of the distance. Still stopped for breaks and lunch. I slept late the next day. Take plent of fluids and eats. But Linden has no problems for parking and you can still just float to Ozark Park.
  4. Can you use live bait for tourney?
  5. Sounds like you guys got a good thing going. What is the limit on crappie for the tournament? What is legal limit size for lake? Thank, Charles
  6. Thanks...I used #6 SS EAGLECLAW HOOKS...I usually use bluegill or liver...Are the circle hooks better for the shrimp and crawfish?
  7. Nice Gus ....Just gave me whole new outlook on life. That guy looks like a powerplant victim. Call Erin Brockavich.
  8. Thanks guys. I have seen the limb lines on my floats. Probably head back down to Walnut springs towards McCord Bend with jugs and liver. Saw the James this morning real muddy. Thanks again.
  9. Pretty fish. Was the water muddy from the james flowing? It was in Springfield. We saw alot of fish at that depth last weekend north of flat creek hovering over the schools fo shad. Hope you nail the big one. Go to the thread for springfield..fellows lake. There were post of nice pics on big walley this last week. Trolling sales nice when the heat wave is in. Good Luck.
  10. Thanks Ozarkgunner. Just wanted to make sure. Is it ok to run them in the River below the dam?
  11. Is it Legal to run Limb Lines and Trot Lines in Springfield Lake.
  12. Anyone know what the Catfish are doing right now. Are they Biting on Liver, Chicken Weiners, Worms, Dead Minnows, Bluegill, Shad? Anyone know. I got a long drive to Stockton this weekend. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  13. carefull of the law maker you ask. That was probaly his/her tub...lol I am pretty sure inorder to make a change in the law. It will take several of us going to a meeting in Jefferson City. My job requires two months notice for days off. I was just going to quit my regular job and just fish for a livin....my wife said, "NO". Sure did enjoy fishn the upper james arm this morning. Seen 3 boats. Talked 15 bass into giving up, caught enough perch to bait 50 hooks and the only wake I saw was from my boat when I made a circle. If anyone decides to fish higher up tomorrow it ought to be good fishn and relaxing. Good Night and safe fish'n.
  14. Reminds me of the same situation on a thread i ran here last year. Those pillars at the bridges can also be a death trap. Were just another Lake of the Ozarks. I am sticking to the upper james river arm this weekend. Good Luck on the waters this weekend. Stay safe.
  15. Yea but Seth, the paddlefish come from the deepest parts of Table Rock. Right? They just run up there for a minute . Good to hear from ya.I ate some paddlefish from where you and i were catching at Walnut Springs this year. They tasted good. I know you been catching them longer than I have. Last year was the first at delaware town. We did catch them there the last couple of day this year too. Same hole in the bend down river by the small bluffs. Has anyone noticed the funny odor and the foamy dirty foam that floats the river in August?
  16. Well with all that said. The James flows right slap dab into Table Rock. I eat fish from below McCord's Bend. For every problem, there is a solution. Then there is just plain simple catch and release fishing. So, Where is our cleanest fish factory?
  17. Call Field and Stream. Looks like we got another PRO growing up. Could be on Front Cover one day. Congrats. Sure do miss those days growing up.
  18. Just got done cleaning fish this morning. Actually, got in at 6am this morning. Caught 4 channels and one flat head last night. How deep to you guys set your limb lines. I caught some fish just below the water line and one with my limb line at the bottom in 20 feet of water. All fish were in the 5 lb range.
  19. Thanks for the report. Sounds like you did very well. Fellows seems to skunk me every time I have tried for bass. Congrats.
  20. Thanks for the report Bob. Getting geared up for cats on table rock james river arm Friday night. Any word on how limb lines, trot lines and jugs have been doin round stockton. Thinkn bout Saturday night at stockton for catfish. Be the first time back since Hunting Season started last year. Been having to work extra lately too. Charles
  21. what is the limit on bluegill? And your combined catch?
  22. Thanks guys, my stomach is feeling better now. I too have been eating the fish out of the james for the last 5 years. So far I am in good health. Just wanted to know what everyone else thought.
  23. Are the Fish safe to eat? A friend of mind use to work for the city. Said there were several billion gallons of sewer pumped into the James each year from the sewer pump stations. I have eaten fish from the James and was wondering if this were true. If so, THAT AINT GOOD. Just a good catch and release river. What does anyone else know about this.
