Used Rt 66 in devils elbow. Its not cheep but well worth it. He had to meet us at the take out then drive us to Newburg and we were his only customers. It was $50 for the ride and cannoe.

Well we floated the little from Newberg to the Gasconade. Think it was the second week of June. Finding bait was the hardest task. Not many minnows to be found using a sain. The fishing was excellent. Five smalls over 15 inches and one rainbow around 20 inches. All released of course. In total around 60 fish. The one note I found interesting is we found a freshly dead crappie in mill creek when we walked up it a ways to get bait. Never saw a crappie in the little before.
