  1. I have had conistantly good results in the last two weeks with a bottom bouncer and slow death rig. This weekend I added a spinnerbait blade because the bites were fewer and further between but still managed a limit. Last week I was trolling with the contour lines, this week I found one spot on a point that produced every time I went over it and had to switch to trolling up the point from deep to shallow. All keepers were in 15 ft of water. We did manage a nice 4.5 lber. Good luck out there, I would second kwall on taking a trip out with Bob Bennett.
  2. Sweet, thanks for the report. Will be down Friday night
  3. Thanks, I had a feeling. I've been down a couple times this year and did alright on crappie but that's it so far for me. I'll try to get on something this weekend. Thanks for the help.
  4. Anybody had any luck with the walleye in the last couple of weeks. I've got some friends coming down this weekend and would like to get them on some walleye.
  5. Sorry!
  6. Megabass Vision 110's are on sale at Sportsmans Factory Outlet(http://www.sportsmansfactoryoutlet.com/servlet/the-Fishing-Gear-%26-Equipment-cln-Fishing-Lures-%26-Baits-cln-Hardbaits/Categories) And if you buy 3 or more they ship Free.
  7. I hear ya about the allowance. I'd like to get one more before spring hits. I haven't tried any Lucky Craft sticks. I think the nicest thing about the vision 110 is when it's really cold and you need to dead stick it, it does it all its self. It has a really good slow action that drives bass nutsm, and you just have to feel that bite. Early spring is really all I use them, the less I throw it the less chances of breaking it off. But it is a really productive coldwater bait.
  8. A friend of mine turned me on to the Megabass Vision 110 jerbaits last year. While a bit pricey they are by far worth it. However if one ever breaks off I will be going for a swim to recover it. I caught them on sale online at tackle warehouse when they were $10 off and they were still $20. But the action, craftsmanship and casability are unbeatable. They also come standard with outbarb hooks which no fish can get off. Last spring I was fishing with one in a tournament and my dad finally had to tie one on cause I was catching 4 to his one.

  11. You can pick up a Hot Spots map, they have contour lines and known hot spots around the lake for different species. They are pretty accurate. You can get them at most of the gas stations around the lake and Bass Pros has them. They have a website as well. \ http://www.fishinghotspots.com/e1/pc/viewc...amp;pageStyle=H
  12. I have 6 they are pretty sensitive for the price but I have broke the tips off of 3 of them. Wouldn't purchase again. I got a new KVD quantum rod for fathers day and plan to replace the acadias with these. Plan on getting a carrot stik next year as well.
  13. Fished Saturday and Sunday with my dad. Saturday was definitely better with the cloud cover. Saturday we caught about 30 LM and 4 SM all up really shallow. We fished the north end of the lake and caught all of them on jigs or worms. The 3 best fish(all over 4 lbs) were in 2 ft of water in pockets adjacent to secondary points. Sunday we fished a couple of spots on the South end and maybe caught 10 in the 4 hours we were out, and they were all in 8-10 ft of water. darn blue bird skies.
  14. Thanks for the report, been waiting all summer to hear a report on them smallies!!
  15. Thanks Jay bird, appreciate the help.
  16. Thanks guys, I'll be back down there the last weekend of the month and the 2nd weekend of Oct. I'll have to give them a try. Thanks again
  17. Where are the smallmouth being caught, upper end? I have caught a lot of bass this year but no smallies. Nice report thanks
  18. AMEN TO THAT!
  19. I was curious if anyone has had any luck with smallmouth this year. I've caught alot of bass this year but no smallies. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks JD
  20. Thanks for the report Marty, ready to hit the lake this weekend!
  21. Hey Marty, maybe you should fish a couple of tourney's and take this punks money. Maybe that'll make him happy. Oh wait your usually working on the water while they are out playing, that's right!
  22. Hey Marty, great report. Thanks for the trip last week it was a blast. If you guys want a fun day on the water catching fish this is the guy you need to book. I've been fishing Stockton for a couple of years now but had never been walleye fishing. So I booked a trip last Thursday and Friday with Marty and brought my dad. It was a great trip. He showed us some new spots that we hadnt fish and I learned alot in those two days. It was definitely worth it. Thanks again Marty see you on the lake JD
  23. Sorry to offend anyone but around here we call them perch and most people understand. I do know there is a difference. Anyway I caught enough to bait my trotline in about 5 minutes on a bluff. It was just about as much fun as pulling those big cats off the next morning. Had a pretty good weekend on walleye and bass too. I caught a nice 7 lb flathead on a worm while bass fishing. Anyway thanks for the replies and sorry for the confusion.
  24. For bass fish main lake points or secondary points. I've caught some really nice bass this year on Stockton. My best bait has been a Berkley 10 inch power worm in red shad. I throw right at the bank and work out until we find them. I have found that most of the fish we have caught the boat has to be in at least 12-25 ft of water. Good luck hope this helps
