Does anyone know of any bait shops around Stockton that sell perch? I know Mini Mart sells goldfish and they work but not like perch.

My dad and I have fished Stockton the last few weekends with really good success. The big bass bite is on and a blast. A couple of days we fished from sun up to sun down, they were biting all day. The weekend before last, the bigger bass we found were up on the banks between the brush and the bank. Last weekend the bigger fish were right on the brushline or on trees in 8 ft of water. We pitched jigs all day long. I did fish some topwater on Saturday and tore them up on the popper, but they wanted it really slow. Can't wait to get back down there. -
Dad and I went out this weekend and did fairly well. We fished most of the day Saturday and caught 4 that were 3lbs or better and quite a few shorts. All the bigger fish were caught right off the bank. On Sunday we had to find shade up on the bank and they were setting within 2 ft of the bank. We pitch jigs most of the time, caught most of the shorts on a Mann's 1 minus. It was a good weekend to be on the lake. Nice weather. I hope next week is just as nice.

57 degrees up Greaser creek on Saturday, caught a limit of 13-14 inchers about 5 foot off the bank on brush. It was a really good day, caught quite a few bass too. I tried out those new Gulp minnows they sell in the bucket and they work as advertised.
