What I find interesting about this stretch of water is its diversity....gravel and chunk rock bottom, fairly cold, and very clear.....this year I caught a nice 18 inch smallie in here, have caught several 10-14 inchers, and seen carp, gar, bluegill, perch, and goggle-eye..

anyone fish the area around the Bar-k equestrian area? With all the rain we have had it is still wade-able (a plus for me).....I have had pretty good luck with smallies in the area, just looking for some others input.
