The canoe is in Bella Vista, Ar. which is just north on Bentonville, Ar. on hwy 71. You can call me at 479-619-5739 to arrange a meeting. Thanks, Bobby

  5. Cris, I am going to try the creek on Sun evening.........Any topwater action on your float??????? I guess the logjam above Lanagan City Park still keeps a guy from floating from Anderson to the Elk.......do you know anything about that????? Bobby
  6. Same slow report from me on the Big Sugar. Fished it Tues and then again on Thur. Both times from 3:00 P.M. and came out at dark at Gracies. Both trips only caught about 16 total, with the last 45 min. of light saving the day when the bigger smallies decide it's time to explode on topwater. Sure wish that topwater action could last about 2 hrs or so................ Sure would like to hear if the Elk is fishing any better from Pineville down river to the low water bridge. I'm giving up on the Big Sugar for now, and plan to try the Elk down river on Mon. or Tues after the weekend crowd has done their deal........... Hope it's better
  7. Does anyone know if the log jam above Lanagan Park and the low water bridge on Indian Creek is bad as it was??......meaning that you cannot get though it without a killer portage........... any recent reports on the smallies from Anderson to the low water bridge before the log jam?? I floated from Owls Nest to Gracies on Mon. P.M. Not to great on numbers,,,,,,,,,, about 16 total with 3 between 14" and 16"........ and one beauty of 17". Tubes and a frog worked for me...anybody else have any topwater lures that have been working for them lately ???????? Thanks, Bobby
  8. Has anyone floated the King's since the water has come down? Also, what stretch of river? I like the 62 bridge down to Grandview. Any topwater action? Thanks for any info anyone has to share. Bobby
  9. Russ, I'm new to the site........You seem to be up on the Elk and Indian. Help please. I usually float from Gracies to the railroad tressel and Indian Creek.... during the week !!!!!!!!!! However, with the log jam above Lanagan Park and the fast water on the elk, where are you fishing? I like to fish from about 3:00 p.m. till dark. Sounds like you must be up on the Indian above Anderson. I was wanting to fish either Tues or Wed....Where would you go? And it sounds like you shuttle sometimes?????? That sounds great, because I fish by myself often and could would be glad to pay for a shuttle if you do that sometimes. Also, what do you think about from Powell down river now???? How is the water level? Glad to run into you......Thanks for whatever you can pass on to me. Bobby
  10. Predator, Have you had any topwater action yet?
