  1. Thanks for the info guys, Dano that sounds like a good idea. Appreciate it, not sure we would want to ride it out to the white river, that looks like it could be dangerous in a yak. If you guys see a little guy in a red yak and a big guy in a mustard yellow yak, give us a wave. If not in the yaks we will just wade in. My bud's wife may be fishing with us as well as my 14 yoa son. This is our first trip to the area, should be fun,and thanks for sharing the info with us. We are both Fort Worth Fire Fighters and have stickers on our trucks, keep a look out for us and we'll see ya on the river. It looks like we will be fishing Friday morning for sure, and again Sunday. Take care, stay safe. Mark
  2. Hello all, Going to the white river this Thursday the 17th of July through Monday, but I want to fish the Norfolks tailwaters. I was just curious as to how the water release schedule has been on the Norfolk? Is there a method to the madness I called the Norfolk darn number and it'a a recording talking about generating stopped on the 13th at 8 p.m and started back up on the 14th at 1 p.m. Will they basically follow this pattern barring any rain events this week? No generating in the a.m. ? If I call on Thursday night will the info be there for the following day or is the info after the fact? Do they have a horn that sounds when the gates are about to be opened? Main reason for my questioning is because we want to fish out of our kayaks in the mornings but worry about the gates opening without warning. I would greatly appreciate any info or insight from you folks, as this is the first time for us to visit the area. Thanks guys
