Hey, thanks for the information. I didn't think about the wind in my boat - I'll be sure to watch out. Even though I fish a lot around here - it's seems like an entirely different world of fishing down there! I may just look into getting a fishing guide when I get there for the short time of our trip - I want to make the best of my fishing time. I think I need to get a site like this for the fishing spots around here! Jim

Yes, Petertherock, that's right. I am bringing an 8' boat along but I hear that I can't go far in my Bass Buggy so I want to try a bigger boat. I have read online that there are places to rent boats there and I want to get a good price. It'a a family spring break so I don't have many days and I want to make the best of the time I have........ I am heading off to work as we speak.....can't afford the new Ranger if I don't show up for work.............

Hi I'm Jim and I'll be visiting Branson and Table Rock Lake in 2 weeks. We will be staying at the Big Cedar Wilderness club and am wondering where I can get a great boat rental and close spots to hit with the 8" boat I'm bringing along! I'm coming from Indiana and will be fishing for those "Lunker Bass" Appreciate any advice Thanks Jim
