  1. Michael- I agree that the website looks good. I appreciate all that it offers. One suggestion is to include a picture of your shop. It may help with publicity. You may want to even include a picture of yourself and wife. Anyway,I look forward to the seminar on Friday and an chance at winning a new rod. That would be a great way to start the 2007 season. Tracy (Brad Z. neighbor)
  2. I hate to do this but my wife just delivered our second child last week (a beautiful baby girl) and I have realized that I will not have the time or the energy to participate in the swap. Sorry guys. Apparently I have forgotten how tired one gets with a newborn in the house. I hope to make the 3rd swap.
  3. Count me in, although I must say that my fly tying skills are limited.
  4. I am graduating in August with my masters and my dad (who is not a fly fisher) wants to congratulate me with a guided trip for the two of us on the White River. I have not fished the White and I am not familiar with the outfitters down there. I am looking for some trusted names to contact to set up a trip for my father and myself. We are hoping to plan a trip in September. Thanks
  5. I am a transplant from just outside of Houston, Texas. I grew bass fishing and fishing in the bay in and around Galvaston. I never picked up or saw a fly rod until I got to SW Missouri. I've been fly fishing for about 4 years here in MO, but next week I am making a trip back home (Texas) and have a trip planned to hunt for reds out in the bay. I'll be fishing with a guy who uses a spin. gear and is not familiar with saltwater flys. And neither am I. I am bringing a 9" 9wt. rod but I need advice on line, leader, tippet, and flys. Thanks
  6. Let's not forget who the reigning National League Champs are! Go Astros
  7. General question, have you all tried skating a mouse on Taney? I was talking to a guy the other day from Washington state and he said he and his buddies used to fish a mouse (mice)for big browns at night. I was wondering if anyone has had luck trying that on Taneycomo.
  8. If we plan on attending should we expect time and space to try tying some the flys we learn about? I am so looking forward to the Whites running this spring.
