binman, I thoughtn your ID was BIG FISH.You need to find someone that knows the lake to fish with you. As tough as it was, we just kept experimenting till we found something they would eat.

SORRY YOU HAD A TOUGH DAY. i DID THE SAME LAST SATURDAY AND FISHED WITH OUT 1 BITE. WE WILL HAVE MORE BOATS. LAST SUMMER WE AVERAGED 4 TO 9. I THINK THE RAIN HAD A LOT TO DO WITH IT. WE ALSO DID NOT HAVE 1 FISH IN LIVE WELL TILL 1 PM.

I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE SAC RIVER SIDE IS WARMER THAN THE LITTLE SAC SIDE. IN THE PAST WEEK WE WERE ABLE TO CATCH CRAPPIE IN 2 TO 5 FOOT OF WATER ON THE SAC SIDE AND NOTHING ON THE LITTLE SAC SIDE. FISHED A CRAPPIE TOURNEY SUNDAY AND WON IT WITH A LIMIT OF 7 NICE CRAPPIES IN THE 12 TO 14 INCH RANGE.THIS NEXT 2 WEEKS WILL BE KILLER IF THE WEATHERMAN IS RIGHT. OUR SUMMER SHO-ME CRAPPIE SERIES STARTS MAY 3RD OUT OF STATE PARK MARINA. WILL POST DETAILS LATER, BUT WITH THE SPONSORS WE GOT SHOULD BE A 95 TO 100% PAY BACK WITH GIFT CARDS FROM LOWES AND WALMART. Minnows and tubes on a 1/16oz jig head should do the trick. I would go to aldridge myself and my guess would be they should be staging in 10 to 20 foot of water.Good luck. Let me know how you did.

Thanks. The one thing I do now is thatb when they bite they bite, but it turns off real fast.
