Back in the 1960's, my Dad used to take me fishing on Lake Taneycomo to a boat dock called Mitten's Boat Dock? All I really remember about it is that you had to go down a steep slope to get to the boat dock and there was a cool cable driven elevator to take you down the hill from the parking lot. I was just wondering if the dock is still there under a different name. If anyone remembers that far back I would love to know exactly where it is located. Thanks!

Hello all. I am originally from Southwest Missouri (Rogersville) and grew up fishing on Taneycomo, Table Rock, Bull Shoals, and the Finley and James Rivers. I've lived in SC since 1996 and bass fish mainly on the Santee-Cooper and Cooper River. I fish out of a 2008 Ranger 188VX with a 150 Merc. I still have strong ties to Southwest Missouri and thought I would enjoy keeping up with fishing in the area through this forum.
